Temporary Closure of Arliss Street for Construction of Purple Line to Impact Long Branch Library Access

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, October 18, 2017

The northern portion of Arliss Street, from Flower Avenue to Walden Road, will close beginning November 6, impacting access to the Long Branch Library. The closure is necessary to begin construction on the Purple Line.

 

Access to the library during the street closure will be via the southern portion of Arliss Street, which can be reached from westbound Piney Branch Road (coming from University Blvd. E) or eastbound from Piney Branch Road (coming from Flower Avenue).

 

Long Branch Library hours will not change during the Arliss Street construction, which is expected to last for four years.
