Montgomery Council President Riemer to meet with media on

Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 12:30 p.m.

 

ROCKVILLE, Md., Jan. 12, 2018—Montgomery County Council President Hans Riemer will meet with members of the media on Tuesday, January 16 at 12:30 p.m. to discuss key issues concerning the Council and its respective committees.  Some of the issues he will discuss include the Council’s review of the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget Savings Plan, County priorities for the 2018 Maryland General Assembly session and the Trump administration’s decision to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for residents from El Salvador.        

 

Council President Riemer’s meeting with members of the media will be in the fourth floor conference room of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville.

 

Council President Riemer meets regularly with members of the media to preview the Council’s weekly activities and discuss local issues. Next week’s meeting will be held on Tuesday; however, most meetings are held on Mondays.
