MCDOT Partnership with Arts on the Block Featured in New Video

A new video tells the story of MCDOT’s partnership with Arts on the Block, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities to teens to obtain real-world experience in art, design and business by executing public and private art commissions with clients across the metropolitan region. MCDOT’s Division of Transportation Engineering and Division of Transit Services have worked with the students.

A few years ago, these young artists created mosaics for some of Ride On’s bus stop walls and recently, young artists from the Apprentice Artists program designed unique mosaic medallions for each of Ride On’s extRa bus stops. Watch the video, see the medallions, or learn more about Arts on the Block.
