Montgomery County Public Libraries Offers Free Business Training for Montgomery County Childcare Providers

For Immediate Release: Friday, March 9, 2018

Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) and the Maryland Women’s Business Center are collaborating to offer business training for childcare owners and providers.

The workshops will offer information and tools to help strengthen local child care owners’ business skills and knowledge, particularly in areas of human resources, marketing, financial management and business planning.

Participants will learn about local resources for the child care industry and how to prepare for business challenges. The workshops will be offered in Spanish at two MCPL locations, Germantown and Long Branch. 

These workshops are informational in nature and not Maryland State Department of Education approved for core of knowledge.
