MCDOT Works with Dale Drive Safety Coalition to Improve Pedestrian Safety ‏

At a recent Woodside Park community meeting, MCDOT staff presented a plan to improve pedestrian safety along Dale Drive that will include pedestrian islands in three crosswalks, short traffic calming medians, bump outs, higher visibility crosswalk signs and pavement markings between Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road. In addition, MCDOT is proposing straightening the skewed intersection of Grace Church Road with Dale Drive.
