Council to meet virtually with U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen on Jan. 29 at 1 p.m.

ROCKVILLE, Md., Jan. 28, 2021—The Council will meet virtually with U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) on Friday, Jan. 29 at 1 p.m. to discuss new public policy initiatives from the Biden-Harris administration, when residents can expect to see an increase in Covid-19 vaccine doses from the federal government, President Biden’s American Rescue Plan, federal funding for transit and infrastructure and economic development opportunities in Montgomery County.

The meeting will be televised live by County Cable Montgomery (CCM) on Xfinity channels 6 and 996, RCN channels 6 and 1056; and FiOS channel 30.
