From a physical education teacher to a social media maven, Alex Tsironis has had quite a journey from informing students about snow days to his founding of the popular website MoCoShow.com. He recently shared his story with Derrick Kenny, host of the What’s Happening MoCo podcast, before a live audience at the Universities at Shady Grove.  

Throughout their discussion, the two exchanged experiences and insights into what goes into building content, reputation and an audience. The episode dissects the strategy behind “going viral,” the responsibility of factual reporting and approaches to monetization for creators.
