Montgomery County Government (MCG) is hosting its Career Fair and Hiring Expo from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza, located at 1 Veterans Place in Downtown Silver Spring. 

The job fair will provide attendees an opportunity to explore rewarding careers in public service. With over 100 positions available across many County departments, the fair will showcase the County’s commitment to building a diverse and talented workforce dedicated to serving the public. Attendees will have the chance to meet directly with hiring managers, participate in on-the-spot interviews for select positions, explore current job openings and gain insights into MCG’s competitive benefits, professional development opportunities and supportive work environment.

"This career fair will be a great opportunity  for individuals to connect with our team and learn about the meaningful work we do to support the residents of Montgomery County,” said County Executive Marc Elrich. “We are looking for passionate, skilled and dedicated individuals who want to make a difference.” 

Whether someone is just starting a career, looking to advance, or considering a career change, the MCG Career Fair and Hiring Expo has something for everyone. Explore roles in public safety, health and human services, technology, retail, administration and more. Job seekers of all experience levels and backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
