Temporary Bus Stop Closure on Southbound Rockville Pike to Impact Ride On Routes 30 and 46 Starting March 9
For Immediate Release: Monday, March 10, 2025
Beginning Sunday, March 9, the Ride On bus stop on Southbound Rockville Pike (MD 355) between Locust Hill Road and West Cedar Lane in Bethesda (stop #25642) will be closed from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights until Friday, March 21, to facilitate a watermain installation. Ride On Routes 30 and 46 will be impacted. Riders can use the stop at Rockville Pike and North Drive (stop #25644), on the east side of NIH, as an alternative.
Ride On bus fare is only $1 and monthly passes are $22.50 using SmarTrip, cash, or tokens. Seniors age 65 or older, persons with disabilities and youth ages 18 and under all ride free using specialized SmarTrip cards.
