Montgomery County Council to Hold Public Hearings on May 6 and 13, 2025

The County Council will hold public hearings to receive testimony on new items introduced to the Council as follows:

May 6, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.
Deadline to sign up to speak is May 5 at 2 p.m.

• Resolution to approve Supplemental Appropriation #25-73 to the FY25 Operating Budget, Montgomery County Government, Department of Transportation, Transit Services - Statewide Transit Innovation Grant Program, $263,000 (Source of Funds: State Grant)
• Resolution to approve Supplemental Appropriation #25-69 to the FY25 Operating Budget, Montgomery County Government, Department of Environmental Protection, Congressionally Directed Spending/Community Grant Round 2 - $1,000,000 (Source of Funds: Federal Grant)

• The Council will hold a public hearing on the County Executive’s recommended amendments transmitted to the Council on April 14, 2025 and other potential amendments to the FY25-30 Capital Improvements Program (CIP).

To testify in-person or remotely during a live public hearing at the Council Office Building, residents need to preregister on the Council's web page. Residents may also choose to provide pre-recorded testimony in written, audio or video formats or submit testimony by mail.
