Due to the City of Rockville's Memorial Day celebrations, Ride On Bus routes 45, 46, 55 and T2 will experience detours from Friday, May 23 through Monday, May 26 at 3 p.m. Details on the detours can be found below. 

Note that within the maps below, dashed lines indicate normal routing and solid or arrowed lines indicate detours. 

Friday, May 23: 

Bus Route 45  

To Twinbrook: Continue on Beall Avenue to 355, right onto 355, left onto Park Road, and back onto the regular route.  

Stops at 33 Maryland Avenue (17186), and East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (24088) will be bypassed. Use alternate stop at Beall Avenue and Maryland Avenue (17185), and at Rockville Station Bay D– East (25652). 

Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25: 

Bus Route 45  

To Rockville Regional Transit Center: From Park Road and 355, right onto 355, left onto Beall Avenue, right onto North Washington Street and back onto the regular route. 

Stops at East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (24090), East Middle Lane and Gibbs Street (24092), North Washington Street and East Middle Lane (26932), North Washington Street and Beall Avenue (26934) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at Rockville Station Bay D– East (25652) and North Washington Street and Dawson Avenue (26936).  

To Twinbrook: From Beall Avenue and Maryland Avenue, straight on Beall Avenue, right onto 355, left onto Park Road and back onto the regular route. 

Stops at 33 Maryland Avenue (17186) and at East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (24088) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at Beall Avenue and Maryland Avenue (17185) and Rockville Station Bay D– East (25652). 

Bus Route 55 

To Germantown: From Rockville Station, right onto 355, continue on 355 to Beall Avenue, left onto Beall Avenue, right onto N Washington Street, and back onto the regular route.  

Stops at East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (24090), East Middle Lane and Gibbs Street (24092), North Washington Street and East Middle Lane (26932), and North Washington Street and Beall Avenue (26934) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at Rockville Station Bay B—West (14775) and at North Washington Street and Dawson Avenue (26936).  

To Rockville: From North Washington Street and Beall Avenue, left onto Beall Avenue, right onto 355, left into Rockville Station West. 

Stops at North Washington Street and Beall Avenue (26944), North Washington Street and East Middle Lane (26946), East Middle Lane and Washington Street (24086) as well as the stop at East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (24088) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at Rockville Station Bay B– West (14775) and at North Washington Street and Dawson Avenue (26942).  

Bus Route T2 

To Rockville: From North Washington Street and East Middle Lane, continue on North Washington Street, right onto Beall Avenue, right onto 355, left onto Park Road, and right into Rockville Station East.  

Stops at East Middle Lane and Washington Street (2001352) and at East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (2001353) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at West Montgomery Avenue and South Adams Street (2000887), North Washington Street and East Middle Lane (26932), North Washington Street and Beall Avenue (26934) and Rockville Station Bay A– West (2002933). 

To Friendship Heights: From Rockville Station East, left onto Park Road, right onto 355, left onto Beall Avenue, left onto North Washington Street, and back onto the regular route.  

Stops at East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (2001304) and at East Middle Lane and Maryland Avenue (2001305) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at Rockville Station Bay A– West (2002933), North Washington Street and Beall Avenue (26944), North Washington Street and East Middle Lane (26946), and at West Montgomery Avenue and North Adams Street (2000888). 

Monday, May 26, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.: 

Bus Route 46  

To Medical Center: From Mannakee Street and 355, right on 355, stay on 355 to Rockville Station, and left into Rockville Station. 

Stops at North Washington Street and Martins Lane (26940), North Washington Street and Dawson Avenue (26942), North Washington Street and Beall Avenue (26944), North Washington Street and East Middle Lane (26946), South Washington Street and Montgomery Avenue (26948), East Jefferson Street and Maryland Avenue (23406) and Monroe Street and Monroe Place (24148) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at 700 Hungerford Drive (23327) and Rockville Station Bay A– West (25654). 

To Montgomery College: From Rockville Station, right onto 355, continue straight on 355 to Mannakee Street, left onto Mannakee Street, and back onto the regular route. 

Stops at Monroe Street and Monroe Place (24150), East Jefferson Street and Maryland Avenue (23400), South Washington Street and Court House Square (26930), North Washington Street and Middle Lane (26932), North Washington Street and Beall Avenue (26934), North Washington Street and Dawson Avenue (26936) and at North Washington Street and Martins Lane (26938) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at Hungerford Drive and Frederick Avenue (23324) and Rockville Station Bay A- West (25654). 

Bus Route 55  

To Rockville: From Mannakee Street and 355, right on 355, stay on 355 to Rockville Station, and left into Rockville Station. 

Stops at North Washington Street and Martins Lane (26940), North Washington Street and Dawson Avenue (26942), North Washington Street and Beall Avenue (26944), North Washington Street and East Middle Lane (26946), East Middle Lane and Washington Street (24086), East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (24088) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at 700 Hungerford Drive (23327) and at Rockville Station Bay B - West (14475). 

To Germantown: From Rockville Station, right onto 355, continue straight on 355 to Mannakee Street, left onto Mannakee Street, and back onto the regular route. 

Stops at East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (24090), East Middle Lane and Gibbs Street (24092), North Washington Street and East Middle Lane (26932), North Washington Street and Beall Avenue (26934), North Washington Street and Dawson Avenue (26936) and North Washington Street and Martins Lane (26938) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at Hungerford Drive and Frederick Avenue (23324) and at Rockville Station Bay B- West (14775). 

Bus Route T2 

To Rockville: From Great Falls Road and Jefferson Street, right onto W Jefferson Street, left onto Monroe Street, right onto Monroe Place, left onto 355, right onto Park Road, and right into Rockville Station. Stops at West Montgomery Avenue and Adams Street (2000887), East Middle Lane and Washington Street (2001352) and East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (2001353) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at Great Falls Road and West Jefferson Street (2000880), West Jefferson Street and Adams Street (23404), East Jefferson Street and Maryland Avenue (23406) and at Monroe Street and Monroe Place (24148). 

To Friendship Heights: From Rockville Station, left onto Park Road, left onto 355, right onto Monroe Place, left on Monroe Street, right onto E Jefferson Street, left onto Great Falls Road, and back onto the regular route.  

Stops at East Middle Lane and Monroe Street (2001304), East Middle Lane and Maryland Avenue (2001305), West Montgomery Avenue and Washington Street (24182) and West Montgomery Avenue and Adams Street (2000888) will be bypassed. Use alternate stops at Monroe Street and Monroe Place (24150), West Jefferson Street and Adams Street (23402), and Great Falls Road and West Jefferson Street (2000879).
