Planned Red Line Metrorail Track Work Beginning Saturday, March 7 through Sunday, March 8

For Immediate Release: Friday, March 6, 2026

Due to planned red line Metrorail track work, Saturday, March 7 through Sunday, March 8 trains will single track between Medical Center and Friendship Heights stations.

Hours: Saturday 6 a.m. – 2 a.m.; Sunday 6 a.m. – midnight.
