County Liquor Stores to Close Today at 3 P.M.; Schedule Changes Will Affect Wholesale Customers on Friday

For Immediate Release: Thursday, September 18, 2003

The Montgomery County Department of Liquor Control will close all 24 retail stores at 3 p.m. today. Stores will reopen on Friday, September 19 at 2 p.m., depending on weather conditions and availability of power.

Wholesale customers will receive their normal shipments today. Deliveries scheduled for Friday will now be made on Saturday, September 20. The warehouse will be open for licensee pickups on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Wholesale customers will still be able to place orders through fax, internet, or TOPS ordering throughout Thursday and Friday. Customer Service will be available to schedule orders by telephone on Thursday until 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m..
