UPDATE: Jayla Hungerford has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jayla Hungerford, a missing 17-year-old from Gaithersburg.

Hungerford was last seen in the area of South Frederick Ave.

Hungerford is 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She has pierced ears and tattoos on her ankle, chest and back. It is unknown what she was last seen wearing.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.
