Two Adult Males and Teen Arrested for Handgun Possession

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, August 22, 2023

Gaithersburg, MD – 19-year-old Oliver Perez-Fierro, of Montgomery Village, 19-year-old Osman Maldonado, of Gaithersburg, and a 16-year-old, from Gaithersburg, have been arrested and charged with multiple firearm related charges.  

On Wednesday, August 15, 2023, at approximately 7 p.m., officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Community Action Team conducted a traffic stop on a Black Honda Accord in the area of Montgomery Village Ave. and Arrowhead Rd., for a traffic violation.  

Officers searched the Accord and located a black Privately Manufactured Firearm (PMF) with multiple 9mm rounds. During the search of Perez-Fierro, officers also located a loaded Glock 43 handgun with multiple 9mm rounds.  

All three suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.  

Perez-Fierro and Maldonado have been released on bond.
