Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects who committed a theft at the Sunglass Hut in the Westfield Montgomery Mall. Detectives have released photographs of the suspects.

On Friday, November 3, 2023, at approximately 10:51 a.m., 2nd District officers responded to the location for the report of a theft.

The preliminary investigation revealed that two unknown male suspects entered the store and stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise, totaling over $10,000, before leaving the store.

Detectives obtained surveillance photos of the suspects.

The first suspect is described as a Black male, wearing a black coat, green pants and gold Nike Air Max sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a Black male, wearing a black North Face coat, khaki pants and gold Nike Air Max sneakers.
