Second Suspect Arrested in Connection with November 2023 Homicide

A second person has been arrested in connection to a November 2023 homicide.

22-year-old De’Shaun McCrimmon has been charged with first-degree murder for his involvement in the shooting death of 20-year-old Orlando Alexander Satz, Jr.

Satz, Jr. died on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, after crashing his car into a parked vehicle on Spruell Drive. Montgomery County Fire Rescue responded and observed apparent gunshot wounds.

Jose Ramon Ventura was arrested on Thursday, June 20, 2024, and charged with accessory after the fact for driving and transporting McCrimmon and another individual believed to be responsible for Satz’s death.

On Saturday, August 24, detectives requested and obtained a warrant for McCrimmon’s arrest, charging him with first-degree murder. He was arrested on Tuesday, August 27, in Silver Spring, and is currently being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is awaiting a bond hearing.
