Detectives Investigate 7-Eleven Strong-Arm Robbery

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at a 7-Eleven in the 11500 block of Rockville Pike.

 

At approximately 12:47 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to the location for the report of a robbery.

 

The investigation has revealed that an unknown male suspect entered the store and assaulted a male victim who was withdrawing money from an ATM. The suspect then left on foot with the victim’s money.

 

Detectives reviewed surveillance video from the store and obtained a description of the suspect.

 

The suspect is described as a Black male in his thirties, with a slim build, black hair, wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers.
