Community Complaints Lead to Drug Arrests

Gaithersburg, MD– The Montgomery County Department of Police- 4th District and specialized units have arrested eleven people following an investigation into several community complaints regarding illicit drug activity in the 12200 block of Selfridge Road.

On Friday, March 7, 2025, a search warrant was executed at a residence, where officers encountered approximately 30 people in and around the residence and observed criminal activity consistent with the complaints received from neighbors.

The operation led to the following enforcement actions:

  • 11 individuals arrested
  • 17 outstanding arrest warrants served
  • 1 felony charge – possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine
  • 1 felony charge – nuisance property violation
  • 2 misdemeanor charges – possession of cocaine

The Montgomery County Department of Police is focused on addressing narcotics-related offenses and maintaining public safety. Officers will continue working to identify and disrupt illegal drug activity that negatively impacts the community.
