Detectives Investigate Brookridge Court Homicide; Victim’s Identity Released

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, April 29, 2025

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating a homicide that occurred on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in the 9800 block of Brookridge Court in Montgomery Village. The decedent has been identified as 20-year-old Henry Krishawn Gilbert of Clarksburg.

 

At approximately 11:51 a.m., 6th District officers responded to the location for the report of a vehicle that crashed into a townhouse. Upon arrival, officers located Gilbert in the driver’s seat with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save his life, Gilbert was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore conducted an autopsy and ruled the death a homicide.

 

No suspect is in custody at this time. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
