Second Suspect Wanted in Montgomery Village Homicide in Custody

For Immediate Release: Sunday, May 4, 2025

Gaithersburg, MD - The second suspect wanted in connection to a Montgomery Village homicide is now in custody.

19-year-old Jorden Nylen Hungerford turned himself in to Rockville City Police on Saturday, May 3, 2025.

Hungerford, of Hyattsville, was wanted for his alleged involvement in the shooting death of 20-year-old Henry Krishawn Gilbert of Montgomery Village.  

20-year-old Demari Howard Brown, also of Montgomery Village, was arrested on Thursday, May 1.

Hungerford was taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he was served with an arrest warrant, charging him with first-degree murder.

A bond hearing is scheduled for Monday, May 5.
