PURPLE ALERT: Missing Autistic Male (LOCATED)

UPDATE: Brandon Lee Smith has been located safe and unharmed in Silver Spring.

Gaithersburg, MD – Brandon Lee Smith, who is autistic, has been missing since Friday, May 9, 2025, at approximately 7 p.m.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

The flyer has been updated to include photos of Brandon from the day he left home.
