Understanding SSI/Medicaid & SSDI/Medicare. Government benefits are discussed in a language that one can understand. The workshop will go into detail what the government benefits and programs are, their importance, when to apply, how to apply, how to qualify and how much money the individual with disabilities could receive. The workshop will also discuss when SSA moves an individual from SSI to SSDI and why, and how to keep Medicaid and/or Medicare without the government benefit of SSI or SSDI.
