U.S. Dept. of Agriculture – Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Event – Thurs, Nov 8th from 9am to 12pm. In honor of Veteran’s Day, USDA is sponsoring a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Event, to promote these businesses with an opportunity to meet USDA program and acquisition officials. USDA contracting agencies will provide representatives from their program officials, acquisition staffs, administrative and information technology staffs to meet one-on-one with SDVOSBs to describe their agency’s program objectives, direction and acquisitions. Held on the patio of the Jamie L. Whitten Federal Building (entrance located on Jefferson Drive), 1400 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC 20250. Registration is required, but there is no fee to attend. Registration requests are due back to USDA no later than Thurs, Nov 1st and should be sent via email to Michael Spencer, USDA SDVOSB Program Manager – michael.spencer@dm.usda.gov. Include your name, address of firm, and the name, title, phone number and e-mail address of each attendee. Please indicate any special accommodations needs.
