Free Workshop “Navigating the Financial World of the Family with Special Needs” – Tuesday, February 26th from 7pm to 8:30pm. This workshop examines the Unique Process of Providing and Planning for the Family with Special Needs. It is considered a detailed overview of what it means to be a family with special needs, the journey, and how completing a comprehensive special need financial life plan will enable the family to be proactive in planning for the entire family’s financial future. There will be a discussion on the basics of what needs to be considered now and when the parents are gone, or if one of the spouses is left solo to care for the special needs family. They will go over the legal and estate issues, guardianship, the special needs trust, funding the special needs trust and the importance of the Letter of Intent.
