Free Workshop “Understanding SSI/Medicaid and SSDI/Medicare” – Tuesday, April 2nd from 7pm to 8:30pm. Government benefits of SSI/Medicaid & SSDI/Medicare are discussed in a language that is understandable. They will go into detail what the government benefits and programs are, their importance, when to apply, how to apply, how to qualify and how much money the individual with special needs will possibly receive. They will also discuss when SSA moves an individual from SSI to SSDI and why, and how to keep Medicaid and/or Medicare without the government benefit of SSI or SSDI. In addition, they will briefly discuss the work incentives and how they assist beneficiaries with their employment efforts.
