Montgomery County Council to Hold 5 Public Hearings on FY13 Operating Budget

The Montgomery County Council will hold five public hearings spread over April 10-12 on Montgomery County’s Fiscal Year 2013 Operating Budget. More than 150 people are expected to express views about specific items, and the general structure, of the budget. The public hearings will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10; at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11; and at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 12. All hearings will be held in the Third Floor Hearing Room of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville. The number of speakers for the week is limited due to the number of spots available. To register to speak, residents should call 240-777-7803.
