Veterans Day Artists' Talk - Sunday, November 11th from 2pm to 4pm. Featuring a panel discussion on the work of military artists. The purpose of The Joe Bonham Project is to insure, through art, that the faces, bodies and experiences of this current generation of battle-wounded American warriors are not forgotten. It represents the efforts of wartime illustrators to document the struggles of U.S. and allied service personnel undergoing rehabilitation after traumatic front-line injury. It was founded by former Marine Corps combat artist Michael D. Fay in March 2011. Held at Pepco Edison Place Gallery, 702 Eighth Street, NW, Washington, DC.
