Curbside Recycling for Shredded Paper
Place shredded paper into a paper bag and staple or tape shut, or place in a small cardboard box with a secure lid and tape shut. Then, add this bag or box with your other mixed paper and cardboard in your blue wheeled mixed paper recycling cart. If you don't have a cart, place the sealed paper bag or small cardboard box next to your blue bin.
Preparing your shredded paper properly keeps it from blowing around your neighborhood while awaiting collection or while being emptied into the collection truck.
What if I have too much paper to shred at home?
