Senior Property Tax Credit

The County introduced this credit in levy year 2007 for eligible residents at least 65 years of age. This credit is calculated as 50 percent of the combined State Homeowners’ Tax Credit and County Supplement.

Public Housing Communities

HOC has 555 public housing units located in 3 buildings designated for elderly residents and persons with disabilities. Applicants to these buildings must come through the HOC public housing waiting list.
