Annual Action Plan and Updated Citizen Participation Plan available for public review

Announcement Date: Monday, April 14, 2025

The  DRAFT CFY26 FFY25 Annual Action Plan must be submitted for approval to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by May 15, 2025. The Plan serves as Montgomery County's application for CDBG, HOME, and ESG funds for County Fiscal Year 2026 (July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026), and it identifies specific uses for these annual funding programs. 

The Citizen Participation Plan is a pathway for all citizens to exercise their voice and influence decisions that affect their communities, neighborhoods, and way of life. The Citizen Participation Plan outlines how outreach is conducted for public input on Federal Plans and Reports, as well as what constitutes a “substantial” amendment to Annual Action Plans. An updated version of the Citizen Participation Plan is also available for review.

All interested parties are invited to submit written comments on the Plans and on the community development performance of Montgomery County. The DRAFT Plans will be available for review online beginning April 14, 2025, here: http://montgomerycountymd.gov/DHCA/community/grants/conplan.html.
