Annual Rental Housing Survey is Live!

Announcement Date: Wednesday, April 1, 2026

Starting today, April 1, 2026, the Department of Housing and Community Affairs (DHCA) published the mandatory 2026 Annual Rental Housing Survey for all rental properties pursuant to Montgomery County Code 29-51. 

Please note that landlords are required to submit lease information from July 23, 2024, to the present to enable its incorporation into the DHCA Housing Portal in future years.

All County-licensed rental units must complete the survey by April 30, 2026.

*Properties located within the incorporated municipalities of the City of Gaithersburg, the City of Rockville, the City of Takoma Park, the Town of Barnesville, and the Town of Laytonsville are not required to submit the survey.
