Elrich, Katz and Public Safety Leaders to Promote Free Montgomery County Services Addressing Domestic Violence

To highlight that October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, County Councilmember Sidney Katz and other County leaders will address free County services promoting safety, well-being and healing for such situations. The domestic violence awareness campaign is being shared throughout the County via print and electronic channels.

Elrich and Katz will be joined by Acting Police Chief Marcus Jones, Sheriff Darren M. Popkin, Assistant State’s Attorney Debbie Feinstein, Nicole Drew, president of the Commission for Women, and representatives of the Family Justice Center, the Abused Persons Program and members of the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council.
