County Executive Elrich to Attend Montgomery County’s

Snow Summit on Wednesday, Nov. 6,

as Preparation Begins for Winter Storm Season

Snow plows, large salt storage shed and other snow removal equipment will be displayed. Media invited to ride along on a snow plow.

WHAT:         

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will announce new initiatives by the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Highway Services Division to preserve environmental quality through improved salt management practices during snow removal operations.

WHO:

In addition to County Executive Elrich, MCDOT Director Chris Conklin will address the County’s readiness for the 2019-20 winter snow season.

MCDOT’s Highway Services Division Chief Richard Dorsey will discuss the department’s snow removal process and preview its latest snow removal equipment.
