Day Change: Weekly COVID-19 Media Briefing with County Executive Elrich, Dr. Zelaya, and Dr. Stoddard Moved to Thursday

Thursday, Oct. 15, at 12:30 p.m.

The weekly virtual media briefing, regularly held on Wednesdays, will move to Thursday, Oct. 15 at 12:30 p.m. This week, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and the County's Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security Director Dr. Earl Stoddard will be joined by Dr. Gilberto A. Zelaya II of the Montgomery County Board of Elections.

This media briefing offers reporters a consistent opportunity to reach these County officials to discuss how Montgomery County is managing this pandemic and to address the County’s robust public health efforts.

These weekly media briefings are held via Zoom. To gain access to the calls, RSVP to Carmen Berríos Martínez at carmen.berrios@montgomerycountymd.gov by 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 15, and login information will be provided. Login information for the media briefings, that usually occurs on Wednesdays, remains the same; there is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
