Media Briefing for the Release of the Reimagining Public Safety Task Force Final Report

Thursday, Feb. 4, at 4 p.m.

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will be joined by the co-chairs of the Reimagining Public Safety (RPS) Task Force, Bernice Mireku-North and Marc Mauer, along with David Douglass of ELE4A to host a virtual media briefing at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4.

During the briefing members of the media will be presented with an overview of the final report of the RPS Task Force that addresses racial and social injustices, and outlines recommendations for the County to deliver services in a more equitable manner.

County Executive Elrich will also discuss the Task Force’s Recommendations Report with members of the community in a virtual meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
