County Executive Marc Elrich will be joined by County Councilmembers Gabe Albornoz, Andrew Friedson, Even Glass, Will Jawando and Sidney Katz, as well as community non-profits who partner with the County, to memorialize homeless individuals who died in 2021 and 2022.

Individuals who have experienced homelessness, as well as nonprofit groups who work to end homelessness will be available for interviews.

In the 2022 Point-in-Time survey published by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG), there were 581 individuals experiencing homelessness in Montgomery County.
