Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will be joined by Adriana Hochberg, acting director of the County Department of Environmental Protection, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the Shady Grove Transfer Station in Derwood to launch the County’s sixth annual “Gift Outside the Box” campaign. The campaign encourages people to “gift-greener” during the holidays—and throughout the year.
The Shady Grove Transfer Station is located at 16101 Frederick Rd. in Derwood.
