Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing Will Focus on Human Trafficking Awareness

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will hold his weekly virtual media briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24. 

This week he will discuss Human Trafficking Awareness Month and how the County is launching a new campaign to help with this underreported crime.

This week's guests are:

  • Jodi Finkelstein, executive director of Montgomery County’s Commission for Women
  • Nick Augustine, assistant chief with the Montgomery County Police Department

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss important issues with key members of the County government. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 10:30 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.

If you are not a member of the media and/or cannot gain access to participate, the briefing can be viewed live on the County's Facebook page and County Cable Montgomery at Comcast/RCN Channel 6 and HD Channel 996 or Verizon Channel 30.
