Montgomery County to Open First-of-its-Kind Mobilize Montgomery Federal Workforce Career Center

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will be joined by Maryland’s Deputy Labor Secretary Jason Perkins-Cohen, County Council President Kate Stewart, WorkSource Montgomery Executive Director Anthony Featherstone, and others at the grand opening of the first-of-its-kind Mobilize Montgomery Federal Workforce Career Center (FWCC). The center will support displaced federal workers and contractors through personalized career and entrepreneurial coaching, federal resume and job placement assistance, and professional development programs.

The Federal Worker Career Center is part of the broader Mobilize Montgomery initiative, a public-private partnership launched to support local businesses and workers affected by federal budget cuts. It will specifically serve displaced federal workers, contractors, and professionals impacted by workforce reductions.
