Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, to Focus on Economic Development Efforts, Helping Groups That Help Those in Need

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will have the opportunity to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing, scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17.

The County Executive will talk to the new president and CEO of the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) and highlight the $7.5 million Technology Innovation and Founders Funds program. He will also revisit the importance of the “Montgomery Gives Local” campaign this holiday season with the leader of a local non-profit organization.

His guests this week are:

• Lauren Laimon, president and founder, 4 Season Giving Tree 

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government, and community leaders invited to the Zoom call.
