Saturday, April 4, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Montgomery County high school students preparing to go to prom this year are invited to attend Montgomery County Recreation’s Prom Couture Closet giveaway event at Marilyn J. Praisner Community Recreation Center in Burtonsville on Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Any high school student with their I.D. card will be able to choose a free prom dress or suit, shoes and accessories on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will be able to choose from new and gently used items that have been donated by members of the community.

Over the years, hundreds of students have participated in the giveaway event, which seeks to eliminate the financial obstacle of students attending prom.
