Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will have the opportunity to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing, scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15.
The County Executive will discuss the end of Maryland’s general assembly and highlight some of the accomplishments made during the session that will benefit Montgomery County residents, as well as provide an update on the State’s Prescription Drug Affordability Board. He will also explain the unique situation Montgomery County is in with federal taxes and how it factors into his recommended operating budget, currently being reviewed by the County Council. The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government, and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
