The Board of Canvassers for the Montgomery County Board of Elections will meet on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 10AM to canvass the remaining standard mail-in ballots for the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election.
Following the conclusion of the regularly scheduled canvass, a new canvass will occur on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10AM for the Original ballots when the Original ballot was the only ballot voted by a voter. This new canvass is the result of the mail-in ballot printing issue that occurred in May.
The public can observe the canvass process in-person or virtually by selecting the livestream link on the canvass schedule available at the Montgomery County Board of Elections website 777vote.org. All canvass sessions take place at the Montgomery County Board of Elections Training and Canvass Center, 18753 N. Frederick Avenue, Suite 203, Gaithersburg, MD 20879.
