Recognizing National Preparedness Month

Councilmember Will Jawando and Council President Gabe Albornoz, presented a proclamation recognizing September as National Preparedness Month on Sept. 20, 2022. During National Preparedness Month, we encourage all residents to take steps to prepare for disasters and emergencies.

Speakers included Dr. Earl Stoddard, assistant chief administrative officer for Montgomery County Government. Attendees included representatives of the Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland security (OEMHS) and the emergency response team of the Montgomery County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
