Salvadoran American Day

Salvadoran American Day is Sunday Aug. 6, celebrating Salvadoran heritage and culture. The 8th annual Salvadoran American Day Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m, at the Rockville Campus of Montgomery College, and will feature traditional Salvadoran food, traditional crafts and live music by local and international artists. A variety of community services will also be available, including a Latino Health Fair, organized by Maryland State Delegate Ana Sol Gutierrez, where residents will receive free and confidential health screenings such as blood pressure, cholesterol, vision, dental, HIV, etc. For more information visit festivalcotsa.org
