Council Spotlight
National Salvation Army Week
Council President Hans Riemer presented a proclamation on behalf of the Council recognizing National Salvation Army Week and honoring the Salvation Army for its many community initiatives which help to feed, shelter and empower individuals in need. Last year, the Salvation Army National Capital Area Command served more than 66,000 people in the Washington metropolitan area, including 7,400 Montgomery County residents.
