Walk to School Day

County leaders, parents, teachers and students used the crosswalk during Walk to School Day at Gaithersburg Elementary School. Students chanted, “Use the crosswalk,” Principal McNerney congratulated parents for walking to school rather than driving and encouraged students to provide a good example for their younger brothers and sisters, by always using the crosswalk.
