Bethesda Green
Councilmember George Leventhal presented a proclamation recognizing the ten year anniversary of Bethesda Green, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to accelerate a sustainable economy locally, with a focus on innovation, impact and community. It has created jobs through the Green Business Incubator and engaged thousands of County residents through programs like the Green Neighbors Group, the Fields of Green Internship Fair and the Bethesda Green Leadership Academy. The Council was joined by Veronique Marier, Executive Director, and Jane Horn, Chair of the Board of Directors.
