Montgomery County’s Opportunity Zones

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich talked about the opportunity to spur economic development in Montgomery County as he welcomed developers, investors and others to the Opportunity Zone Workshop and Tour at AFI Silver in Silver Spring. There are 14 census tracts designated Opportunity Zones in key locations throughout Montgomery County. The workshop, presented by the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation and The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, included presentations and community tours of the Opportunity Zones.
